Iberomyrmex
In the world, there are around 12,000 different species of ants described, although it is believed that the number could be more than 22,000, of which about 300 can be found in Spain. They have colonized almost every corner of the planet, and it is estimated that they make up about 20% of all terrestrial animal biomass.
Since 2011, I have been designing the covers for Iberomyrmex, the annual bulletin of the AIM (Iberian Association of Myrmecology), whose main objective is to disseminate knowledge about the ant family, better known as ants. Currently, I am also in charge of the layout.
In this scientific-themed magazine, the foremost experts in myrmecology in Spain come together, providing a space for all kinds of discoveries and curiosities about the world of ants, aiming to highlight their enormous ecological importance.
